You will acquire a comprehensive, critical understanding of the techniques applicable to the practice of dental public health. Learn how to evaluate methodologies, develop critiques of them and where appropriate propose new methods to advance the practice of dental public health to reduce oral health inequalities. \n\nLearn how evidence-based practice relates to healthcare, including navigation of the components of the global evidence ecosystem. \n\nExplore methods used in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of research and service evaluation projects as applied to healthcare.\n\nThe course is delivered by a range of experienced staff including Consultants and Specialists in Dental Public Health and Public Health, senior academics, and active dental public health researchers, including from NHS Education for Scotland (NES). Visiting external speakers will provide workshops and guest lectures in a wide range of related topics.",
