"entryRequirements": "2:2 first degree or above which includes biochemistry and human physiology to level 5 or equivalent, as well as research skills and methodology\nEnglish and Mathematics GCSEs at grade C/grade 4 for above (or equivalent) non-standard entry applicants will be considered on their merits\nFor applicants where English is not their first language, we require an IELTS examination score of at least 7.0 with no element below 6.5\nApplicants must supply a full transcript and one academic reference at the point of application. Evidence of Maths and English GCSEs will also be required.\nA satisfactory Criminal records declaration (DBS/Disclosure Scotland) and Occupational Health clearance are required for this course.",

"summary": "**Our MSc (Pre-Registration) Dietetics programme prepares you for a fulfilling career as a dietitian across a range of health and nutrition settings, including the NHS.**\n\nOur course aims to develop leaders in contemporary dietetic practice. Your academic and clinical practice learning is integrated in a stepped way, preparing you for the workplace through clinical cases and placement learning. Successful completion of the dietetics degree entitles you to apply for Health and Professions Council (HCPC) registration as a Dietitian.\n\nYou’ll learn practical skills through work-based placements with our North West healthcare partners and simulations within purpose-built assessment facilities. Our programme uses real-world case studies, which will equip you with the clinical and professional skills you need for the workplace.\n\nYou’ll be taught by our HCPC registered dietitians with a wide range of experience in clinical practice and research, alongside other nutrition and health professionals. Your learning is closely linked with other Allied Health Professions (AHP) and Nutrition courses and linked to our research team Allied Health.\n\nThis award is approved by the Health & Care Professions Council and accredited by the British Dietetic Association. Individuals are eligible to apply for registration with the HCPC as a registered Dietitian and to apply for full membership with the British Dietetic Association.\n\nComensus volunteers enhance the programme by providing real-world experiences of nutrition-related health conditions.
