"assessmentMethods": "Assessments in this programme are varied and designed for you to demonstrate a range of skills, including\n\ncritical reasoning,\ncommunication,\nresearch\nand professionalism. \nThese skills are essential for becoming a competent, autonomous, and compassionate dietitian. Assessment methods include:\n\nessays,\nlab reports,\nreviews,\nposters,\noral presentations,\ngroup work,\nproject work \nand reflective writing. \nAssessment is designed as 77% coursework with some in-class tests and formal examinations; the placements are assessed via a portfolio.\n\nFor assessment, there is a mix of formative and summative types, giving opportunities to engage with feedback and improve before the final submission.",
"entryRequirements": "You should hold an honours degree at 2:1 or higher in a relevant health or life sciences subject with sufficient emphasis on human physiology and biochemistry, and an understanding of the principles of nutritional sciences. Further information is available here. Other degrees, including science degrees of a different classification and master’s qualifications, will be considered via transcripts.\n\nWe offer short courses and singular modules to help you meet entry requirements if you need an alternative entry route. We recommend contacting us at dietetics@brookes.ac.uk to discuss your qualifications before applying.
