"summary": "Our faculty are theatre-makers, performance artists, theatre historians and performance theorists. They are experts in diverse interdisciplinary approaches to the study of drama, theatre and performance.\n\n**Areas of study**\nWe welcome applicants with practice-as-research projects as well as historical, critical and theoretical approaches to the following areas of study:\n\n\n- contemporary performance practice and experimental theatre\n\n\n- non-human performance\n\n\n- theatre and ethics\n\n\n- Live Art, visual art and body-based practices\n\n\n- queer and feminist performance\n\n\n- dance and the choreographic\n\n\n- performance and popular cultures\n\n\n- contemporary theatre directing\n\n\n- interdisciplinary intersections (for example between performance and music) \n\n\n- early modern drama in contemporary performance\n\n\n- pedagogies of actor training.\n\n\nWe understand that deciding where and what to study is a very important decision. We’ll make all reasonable efforts to provide you with the courses, services and facilities described in this prospectus.
