"entryRequirements": "To apply for this course you may have an undergraduate degree in any subject.\n\nYou should have:\n\na bachelor’s honours degree or international equivalent, typically a high 2:2 or above; or\na degree that is not a high 2:2 or above (or international equivalent) plus at least 2 years of relevant experience in a relevant field or sector; or\n- a teaching qualification (gained after at least the equivalent of 2 satisfactory years of higher education) plus at least 2 years of relevant experience in a relevant field or sector\n- successfully completed the 30 credit Postgraduate Certificate in International Education (PGCiE) at the University of Bath, enabling you to seek a direct transfer to the MA Education\n\nMinimum non-graduate qualifications\n\n- an advanced diploma in education and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or\n- a teaching qualification (gained after at least the equivalent of 2 satisfactory years of higher education) and at least 2 years of relevant experience.\n\nWe may make an offer based on a lower grade if you can provide evidence of your suitability for the degree (for example, professional experience in education).\n\nIf your first language is not English, but within the last 2 years you completed your degree in the UK, you may be exempt from our English language requirements.",

This will put you in a better position to start or advance your career in the sector.\n\nYou’ll broaden and deepen your critical awareness of current educational debates such as how to educate for sustainable futures and global citizenship. It’s your chance to work on a project with an external organisation, using the skills and knowledge you’ll gain during your studies.\n\nYou’ll conduct appropriate research, analyse data (if necessary) and share your proposed strategies or solutions in a presentation and written academic report.\n\nYou may work with an organisation such as a school, university, governmental department or an education provider, to undertake an activity like:\n\n\n- critical evaluation of existing policies or practices\n\n\n- activities aimed at creating improvement or reform\n\n\n- internationalisation projects\n\n\n- contribution to institutional marketing efforts\n\n\n- community engagement or outreach\n\n\n- critical analysis of data\n\n\nConsultancy project numbers are limited each year. You’ll be supported to arrange and apply for a suitable project with one of our external partners or with an organisation from within your own network.
