"entryRequirements": "Applicants should have a universally recognised Dental qualification, normally a Bachelor in Dental Surgery, plus relevant experience.\n\nApplicants should be registered dentists in their own countries, with at least 1 year of relevant post-qualifying experience, normally including some practice within Endodontics.\n\nPersonal statement should be provided showing motivation, experience, and refer to clinical and interpersonal skills.\n\nThe programme lead will select applicants for interviews before any offer is made. All applicants must be available to travel to the UK by early September for Medical and PVG checks. If an offer is made, further information will be supplied by the programme administrator in due course.",

"summary": "Specialise in dealing with the cause, diagnoses, prevention and treatment of diseases of the tooth's dental pulp. This Masters programme is designed for dental graduates who wish to develop clinical skills in endodontics. \n\n**WHY THIS PROGRAMME**\n\n\n- Gain a qualification enabling you to extend your clinical diagnostic and treatment skills and receive a solid grounding in research methodologies.\n\n\n- Attend specialist society conferences such as the British Endodontic Society and the British Society of Restorative Dentistry.\n\n\n- Attend all postgraduate lectures in the Dental School which includes external speakers and speakers from dental companies.\n\n\n**PROGRAMME STRUCTURE**\n\nYou will attend lectures and seminars and take part in tutorials and Pre-clinical skills sessions, as well as undertaking clinical sessions under direct clinical supervision.\n\nYou will take a core course consisting of basic sciences, health sciences and research sciences, and a number of clinical courses dedicated to didactic teaching, reflective learning, clinical procedures and hands-on training in endodontics.\n\n**Clinical Courses**\n\n**Year 1:**\nBiology of Endodontic Diseases\nEvidence-Based Biomedical Research Methods and Statistics\nTherapeutics and Diagnostics in Oral Sciences\nInterdisciplinary Endodontics, Year 2\nMedical and Research Ethics\nPrinciples and practice of root canal treatment, Year 1\nQuality Improvement in Health Care \n\n**Year 2:**\nEndodontics- Research\nEndodontics within the population and options for tooth replacement, Year 2\nManagement of endodontic problems and failure, Year 2\n\nPlease note, this course does not lead to MRD.",
