You'll be ready for industry with opportunities throughout the course to put your learning into practice. Develop your technical skills across different forms of interpretation. \n\nAt Birmingham, you'll develop your knowledge and practical skills from day one.\n\nYou'll get lots of in-class practice in our Interpreting Suite using professional Televic technology used by international organisations. Learn simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, with opportunities to learn community interpreting too.\n\nOur modules will prepare you for interpreting in a range of real world scenarios, including business, legal, medical and other settings. What's more, you'll complete an extended project where you can focus on your chosen topic(s) in depth.\n\n\n- We’re a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI), the Association of Programmes in Translation and Interpreting Studies, UK and Ireland, and the Association of Translation Companies.\n\n\n- Learn from specialists in both Chinese-English and English-Chinese interpreting and translation, allowing you to practice working in both directions. \n\n\n- Access translation software, including translation memory tools, corpus and text analysis tools and post-editing tools, plus SDL Studio Freelance licences.\n",
