"summary": "This course is delivered in partnership with Bayes Business School for students who would like to become technical experts in the open banking technology and its adoption with the financial services industry. The course will provide insights into:\n\n\n- The foundations of fintech systems\n\n\n- Technical risk assessment of open banking systems\n\n\n- Big data analytics in banking / finance\n\n\n- Regulatory compliance and understanding of system and algorithmic ethical issues and social value\n\n\n- Knowledge and understanding of banking and finance\n\n\n- Innovation and new product development life-cycle within the fintech industry\n\n\nThis programme is delivered in partnership with academics from Bayes Business School and gives a first-hand experience on using the Bloomberg Trading Terminals whereby student teams compete with an allocated capital to invest in crypto stocks. In addition the programme allows you to work closely with some of the fintech organisations such as the Lloyds Banking Group, Allica Bank, Thirdfort, EarthID, MoneyHop and many others to co-create an innovative fintech product that will be disruptive in the marketplace. \n\nThis course will prepare you with knowledge and expertise in the following areas:\n\n\n- Will provide you a good understanding of the basic design principles of the fintech systems\n\n\n- Help you to design systems that are ethical and comply with regulatory requirements\n\n\n- Will aid you with the skills needed to develop a product from the ideation stage to prototype\n\n\n- Will give you exposure to real-world practical problems in the fintech industry\n\n\n- Will give you sound knowledge in the cyber security and risk assessment principles that are needed for the fintech industry \n\n\n- Will provide you with the knowledge and understanding and banking and finance relevant to open banking\n\n\nThere are 75,000 new jobs created by the fintech industry in the UK, which is expected to reach 105,000 by 2025. This course is designed to prepare both graduates and professional to develop their careers in open banking. Students who graduate from this course are expected to work as:\n\n\n- System analysts\n\n\n- Cyber Security experts in the financial services sector\n\n\n- Product designer\n\n\n- Fintech platform manager\n\n\n- Fintech product owner\n\n\n- Fintech data scientist\n\n\n- Regulatory and compliance manager\n\n\n- Fintech systems architect\n\n\n- Business systems analyst\n\n\n- Lead fintech systems Engineer\n\n\n- Risk manager\n\n\n- System Analyst / Technical business analyst\n",
