"summary": "How we produce, process, transport, market and consume food affects us all profoundly as individuals, communities and on a global level. On this unique master’s programme, you will explore the interconnections within our food system and the importance of integrated food policy in meeting wider health, economic and environmental goals.\n\nYou will learn about designing and developing integrated food policies that are environmentally and economically sustainable, as well as supporting healthy diets and promoting social cohesion.\n\nYou will question assumptions and analyse conflicting narratives around the challenges within the food system and the best ways to resolve them.\n\nThe programme is structured around five modules:\n\n\n- Food and public policy\n\n\n- Food, culture and society\n\n\n- The political economy of food\n\n\n- Food, public health and the environment\n\n\nDissertation.\n\nIf you are passionate about food policy and addressing the inequities in our systems of production and distribution, then this programme is for you.\n\nOur students come from all over the world and from a wide range of professional backgrounds, creating a diverse learning environment with an international outlook.",
