"entryRequirements": "Our postgraduate minimum requirements are:\n• A 2:2 undergraduate UK honours degree or international equivalent or;\n• A degree-equivalent postgraduate diploma/professional qualification.\n\nApplicants who hold a degree from another discipline or have experiential learning in lieu of a degree may also be considered for entry via the Recognition of Prior Learning process (RPL).\n\n-\n\nExamples of work\n\nFor all postgraduate courses you will need:\n\n• To set up your portal\n• You will then be asked to submit a maximum of six examples of work from your portfolio for consideration. The files should be no larger than 30MB in total and it is essential that no more than six examples of work are uploaded.\n• One reference to support your application. This may be from an academic or a creative practitioner.\n\nApplicants who meet the entry requirements above will be required to submit a personal statement outlining their intentions for MA study.\n\n-\n\nRecognition of Prior Learning (RPL)\n\nIf you’re over the age of 21 and don’t have traditional qualifications, we may be able to consider your relevant experience as well as your educational background through the Recognition of Prior Learning process (RPL). "summary": "This course explores the fascinating relationship between design-led practice, industry engagement and critical analysis.\n\nYou will build a body of self-directed work informed by contemporary graphic design practice and emerging debates within the field of design. Driven by problem analysis, critical debate and design innovation you will develop briefs, engage with an audience and work collaboratively. Your investigation will explore the relationship between visual and contextual research, investigating the social, political and ethical contexts of your work.\n\nYou will be supported by a team with diverse research and practical interests within graphic design and visual culture, working closely with visiting industry speakers. You will source live briefs, work with clients and apply your contextual and industry informed knowledge and understanding to question why graphic design needs to exist and who is the audience - the focus is on becoming a problem seeker not just a problem solver.",
