"assessmentMethods": "Module-related assessment methods include assignments, essays, presentations, work-based projects, practice-based snapshots of care, critical reflections on care, OSCE practical examinations and a 'capstone' research project.",
"entryRequirements": "Honours degree 2:2 or above from a UK or Republic of Ireland university.\nHonours degree equivalent to a 2:2 or above from an approved institution of higher education outside the UK and Republic of Ireland will be accepted.\nNon-standard applicants may be considered.\n\nAll applicants:\nAll applicants will normally hold a professional healthcare qualification, current UK professional registration and have six month's post-qualifying practice experience.\nModule specific practice-related requirements and additional entry criteria may apply to specified modules and will be indicated in the module outlines.\nNo Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) clearance required.\nA minimum Academic IELTS of 7.0 overall, with 6.5 in writing and 7.0 in all other elements, is required for those for whom English is not their first language.\n\nAlternative routes\nShort course applicants\nApplicants wishing to take modules from the programme as free-standing CPD may do so without registering for an award, up to a value of 60 credits. Short course enrolment leading to an accumulation of 60 (or more) free-standing credits will normally lead to programme enrolment. Short course applicants must meet programme entry requirements.\n\nRecognition of prior learning (RPL)\nApplicants may offer prior certificated learning in the form of free-standing credit or interim postgraduate awards up to the credit values specified below:\n\n120 credits of the 180 credits required for the MSc\n75 credits of the 120 credits required for the Postgraduate Diploma\n30 credits of the 60 credits required for the Postgraduate Certificate.\nRPL claims are assessed to ensure prior learning is current (normally credit will have been gained no longer than five years prior to enrolment on the course) and matches specific modules in the programme.\n\nSt George's University of London students who gained credit on the earlier Joint Faculty version of the programmes referred to in this Programme Specification may apply to RPL in both the credits awarded and the grades.\n\nNon-standard applicants\nNon-standard applicants may be considered if they hold one of the following: ยท\n\nDiploma (HE) and free-standing L6 credit* (minimum 30 credits B grade or above) or\nThird class or ordinary degree which includes evidence of a minimum of 30 credits at L6, B grade or above.\nPgCert or 60 free-standing Level 7 credits* without a diploma (HE).\n*Free-standing credit awarded within the past 5 years.\n\nQualifications must be from a UK or Republic of Ireland university, or equivalent qualification from an approved institution of higher education outside the UK and Republic of Ireland.",
