"summary": "MA Heritage Theory and Practice is a one year, taught postgraduate degree intended for graduates and professionals focused on a career in heritage. You will explore current principles and practices in the management and curation of heritage sites and museums including interpretation and community engagement. You will also engage with concepts and approaches in contemporary heritage theory and, importantly, how theory can relate to practice.\nUniquely, MA Heritage Theory and Practice is connected to Cornerstone Praxis, the University of Plymouth’s highly successful heritage engagement unit. Through Cornerstone you will learn through ‘live’ projects, working on site with one of our heritage partners including national organisations such as the National Trust and Historic Houses as well as regional sites and museums including The Box, Powderham Castle, The Elizabethan House and Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. \nCornerstone also manages an extensive work placement scheme exclusive to our students, guaranteeing you a placement at a historic site or museum.",
