"entryRequirements": "A minimum of a 2nd Class Honours degree (2.1 preferred) or equivalent. Applicants without these formal qualifications but with significant appropriate/relevant work/life experience are encouraged to apply. If English is not the applicant's first language, evidence of proficiency must be provided such as a minimum overall IELTS score of 6.0 (5.5 in all bands). If the applicant does not meet the required score it may be possible to register for one of our pre-sessional English courses. To register applicants must hold a conditional offer for a course and have an IELTS score 0.5 or 1.0 below the required standard.",

Outside of London, Scotland is the largest financial services centre in the UK (Source: Scottish Financial News).\n\nInvestment analysts provide insight to help manage portfolios and spot opportunities. Our MSc Investment Analysis course will train you to research business, market trends and performance. It is a highly practical course based on Chartered Financial Analyst knowledge of investment practice.\n\nOn this Masters course you will:\n\nstudy the use of qualitative and quantitative techniques to value investments;\ndevelop portfolio management strategies;\nunderstand risk management tools;\nassess macroeconomic and financial market trends;\nanalyse financial data relating to investments;\nlearn how to produce an equity analysis report;\nunderstand the importance of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors;\ndevelop a critical understanding of investment regulation and ethics;\nlearn how to apply the tools of investment analysis to wealth management .\nThis is a Masters conversion course designed to help you switch to a new career field or advance your skills in Investment Analysis. It will help you progress towards obtaining CFA Charterholder status.
