"summary": "Aeronautical engineering is about how aircrafts are designed, constructed and powered, how they are used and how they are controlled for safe operation. \n\n**Why study this course at the University of Glasgow?** \n\nYou’ll take part in practical laboratories, including running a jet engine test, and a flight-testing course in a Saab 340B aircraft during year 5 of the MEng. There are contributions to aircraft design classes by engineers from the industrial sector and, whenever possible, visits to industrial sites.
