If you’re at an intermediate level, your learning will be tailored to your level of understanding.\n\n**Explore international business**\n- You’ll study a variety of topics related to international business, including:\n\n\n- firms in the global economy\n\n\n- international corporate strategy\n\n\n- comparative international management\n\n\n- cross-cultural marketing\n\n\n- international human resource management.\n\n\n**You will also study the core disciplines that underpin business – including economics, psychology and sociology – and examine concepts such as:**\n- organisational behaviour\n\n\n- operations\n\n\n- entrepreneurship\n\n\n- data analytics\n\n\n- accounting.\n\n\n**Your language options**\nIn each year of study, you will take one 20-credit module in your chosen language and one 20-credit culture module. In your second and final years, you can tailor your studies to suit your interests and deepen your understanding of your chosen language. 98% of our students said teaching staff are good at explaining things (National Student Survey, 2024).\n\nThe second year of study offers a short, guided project focusing on social responsibility in action. This will involve working in a foreign language-rich environment in the UK, or at one of our partner institutions across the world.\n\nIn your third year, you will have the option to undertake a placement or study abroad. Placements are also available in a language-rich environment in the UK, which is a setting where your chosen language is largely spoken. This option offers flexibility if you do not wish to go abroad but still wish to practise your chosen language(s) in a work environment.
