"summary": "Mechanical engineering graduates are sought by employers in almost all sectors of the engineering industry. This programme will develop a broad knowledge base of Mechanical Engineering theory as well as essential skills required in the field of Engineering. Students will carry out practical design projects, use proven theory to solve engineering problems and study new technologies and engineering theory, engineering codes and specifications. During the course guided learning and varied dynamic assessments will provide essential knowledge and understanding which will lead into the final group project, where teams of engineers from different engineering disciplines will work together sharing their knowledge and compete in given challenges. Throughout many of these modules, you will use a range of computer based simulation and development applications. This will be supplemented by practical activities to allow for evaluation of industry standard design.",
