This is an excellent opportunity to apply your learning and showcase your skills.\nPlacement\nOpen to UK students only\nThis course can be taken with an optional industrial placement year after the second year (Level 5). This will help to enhance your CV and give you experience in computing in a professional environment. You will also be able to use your placement experience to help choose your final year project when you return to your studies.\nPlease note that if you join the placement degree route but are unable to secure a placement opportunity for your placement year then you will be automatically transferred to the non-placement degree route to ensure you are still successful in being awarded a degree.\n\nThe foundation year course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to continue onto your Honours degree. You will study a range of subjects that will underpin your future study and also gain valuable experience of university life, with full access to campus facilities.
