This course will offer you valuable skills and the opportunity that you will need to develop a wealth of knowledge required in Cyber Security industry. \n\n**Digital industry trends:** \n80% of enterprise IT will move to the cloud by 2025 \nglobal public cloud computing market is growing by 15% year on year \ncloud computing is ranked as top skill since 2014 \n\n**Support from our industry partners:** \nBMET is working closely with industry partners such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) who provide our learners with free additional learning materials enhancing their knowledge of cloud computing, mapping this to in-demand IT jobs. BMET students gain: \n\nopportunities to earn digital badges for completing courses \naccess to console and sandbox environments for lab activities \naccess to the AWS Educate job board to become more proficient in cloud in areas like software development or cyber security \n\n**Additional AWS certification:** \nUpon successful completion of the Level 4 Higher National Certificate (HNC), you will be suitably prepared to attempt the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam, with a recommendation that you will have six months of fundamental AWS Cloud and industry knowledge before taking the exam. \n\nLessons and lectures are underpinned by tutorial support and seminar presentations, assignments, individual study, group discussion, projects and Interactive Learning Technologies (ILT).\n\n**Year 1 (HNC) – Level 4:**\nUnit 1: Professional Practice in the Digital Economy\nUnit 2: Innovation & Digital Transformation\nUnit 3: Cyber Security\nUnit 4: Programming\nUnit 5: Big Data & Visualisation\nUnit 6: Networking in the Cloud\nUnit 8: Security\nUnit 9: Networking \n\n**Entry Requirements** \n\nEntry requirements for Cyber Security and Cloud Networking is 32 UCAS Tariff points. \nAcceptable qualifications include a minimum of one A Level or an equivalent Level 3 qualification, preferably gained in a digital IT related industry. \nMinimum of four GCSE’s at grade C/4 or above \n\nMature applicants with other qualifications or non-formal qualifications are welcome to apply.
