"summary": "This new and exciting programme is designed to develop the necessary skills and knowledge for employment or progress to the BSc (Hons) Computing programme. \n**ALIGNED WITH INDUSTRY**\nThe HTQ HND Digital Technologies provides technical training with the skills, knowledge and behaviours crucial to the digital economy, equipping you with the skills to join the digital workforce.\nAI Technology is an integral business process in the digital economy across Greater Manchester and beyond, so there are growing opportunities for qualified professionals.\n**WORK PLACEMENTS**\nYou will apply your skills and knowledge on a work-related placement to develop the right skills and competencies for the workplace. \n**INDUSTRY RELEVANT**\nThe programme is delivered by industry experts and education professionals who have extensive computing knowledge, as well as industrial and commercial experience. \n**INDUSTRY STANDARD FACILITIES**\nThe programme is based in the Centre for Advanced Technical Studies, which opened in September 2021, with new hardware for: \n• internet of things\n• connected devices\n• virtual reality\nClassrooms and computing laboratories are equipped with up-to-date software and networking tech.
