"modules": "You'll explore visual and verbal communication principles, international marketing concepts and contextual fashion design – refining your understanding of the industry and how its products and services are promoted. And with our accreditation and close alignment with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, we keep our practices professional and industry knowledge up-to-date.\n\nYear one \nThe first year of the degree introduces you to the broad knowledge required to become a professional creative marketer. You’ll develop core skills in business, communication, creative research, development and production. \n\nThrough lectures, seminars, tutorials and workshops, the academic and technical course team will support learning in research methods, idea generation and writing skills for different contexts. You’ll learn to use digital software tools and experiment with practical production techniques. \n\nModules\nMarketing Essentials\nFashion Marketing Communications\nBelonging\nBranding\nVisual Communications\nHistories\n\nYear two \nYear two sees the focus on exploring the industry as professional practitioners. You’ll examine the global ecosystem and analyse a broad range of future-facing topics using challenge-based learning, collaboration, practical planning and production methods.\n\nModules\nGlobal Fashion Futures\nPromotion\nRetail\nCollaboration\nTheories\n\nYear three \nYou'll begin this 30-week work placement year by creating a study and work plan – advised on and approved by your course team and the University's career service. Then, under the direction of an employer, you'll learn first-hand about different roles and your position in the industry. This is your chance to reflect and develop the kind of work-based skills required by longer live projects, typically seasonal buying cycles.\n\nModules\nEmployment Experience\nThis is an industry placement option. You will undertake a period of supervised work experience of 30 weeks or more, under the direction of an employer or several employers, and with a university-based academic mentor. This will enable you to develop and operate in a course-related working environment. You are required to evidence your experiences, reflecting on your skills acquisition and professional outlook in a report or blog-style documentary.\n\nYear four \nYou’ll align your professional practice and apply core marketing and critical analysis skills in this employability focused year. With an optional sandwich year in industry or final year of study. The course culminates in a self-defined, negotiated project. \n\nModules\nProfessional Strategies\nMarketing Strategies\nInvestigations\nFinal Major Project Part 1\nFinal Major Project Part 2\n\nAs part of our process of continuous improvement, we routinely review course content to ensure that all our students benefit from a high-quality and rewarding academic experience. As such, there may be some changes made to your course which are not immediately reflected in the content displayed on our website. Any students affected will be informed of any changes made directly.",

"furtherInformation": "At Falmouth, we recognise excellence in many forms, and we see the whole you.\n\nOur diverse community is creative, innovative and entrepreneurial.\n\nWe recognise that these qualities aren’t always shown in academic grades alone. That’s why, while many of our applicants achieve high academic grades, we also welcome those who can demonstrate their potential through an exceptional portfolio or performance.\n\nAt a minimum, we typically require the equivalent of 64 UCAS Tariff points for undergraduate courses where we can review a portfolio or audition, or a minimum of 96 UCAS points for those courses that do not require a portfolio or audition. For our Integrated Foundation Year courses, we typically require a minimum of 32 UCAS points for courses where we can review a portfolio or audition, or 64 UCAS points for those that do not require a portfolio or audition. \n\nTo support this approach, during a friendly conversation with our academic team, we’ll consider your ideas, your creative output and your ambition to ensure you’ll thrive at Falmouth.\n\nIf you are able to demonstrate relevant, current, equivalent experience instead of formal qualifications, we encourage you to apply. Please contact our Applicant Services team before applying, for advice regarding your individual experience and eligibility.\n\nIf you are an international applicant and require a Student visa to study in the UK, you must have a recognised English language test approved and vouched for by the University at the appropriate level. You can see what we accept on our website https://www.falmouth.ac.uk/study/international/english-language-requirements Our Applicant Services team can help you with any general questions you may have about study visas or suitable language tests.
