Develop your understanding of the tools, principles and practices of the finance industry.**\n\n**This three-year BSc Financial Mathematics course will give you the understanding of the principles and practices of the finance industry you’ll need for a successful career.**\n\nYou’ll study the numerical skills and specialist knowledge you need for a career in finance, jointly delivered by the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, School of Economics and Management School.\n\nIn your first year you’ll gain the best possible grounding by focusing on fundamental mathematical and financial concepts.\n\nYou’ll cover essential topics such as calculus, algebra and data science; develop programming skills using Python and R; and learn to present your work using LaTeX.
