You will become equipped with a grounding in the key concepts of neuroscience with transferable skills that will help to prepare you for a career of your choice.\n\nLearn to understand people through theories and topics including biological, social and developmental psychology, enabling you to understand human behaviour. You will explore how electrical and chemical activity in the brain works to control these human functions at a cellular and molecular level. Discover how drugs can affect these finely tuned systems and go on to explore how we may be able to regenerate and repair the brain after damage.\n\nThroughout the programme, you will develop a range of practical laboratory skills that can be applied to design and carry out experiments to understand more about the brain and nervous system.
