"modules": "Examine topics such as what brain events occur during a phobic reaction, how to maintain psychological wellbeing, and why some people are psychopaths. In year one cover the core conceptual frameworks in psychology, how to investigate psychological questions, and ways the benefits of psychology in everyday life. In your second and third years choose from a range of specialist modules including Forensic Psychology, Psychology of Gender and Sexuality, and Cognitive Neuroscience. Take a brief internship with an external organisation, gaining skills and experience useful for your intended career. Recent internships have been completed with the Rethink self-harm helpline, the learning support team at an FE college, and marketing for a local company. You’ll also undertake a live research project in an area of psychology that interests you, from psychopathy and brain activity to eating disorders, animal therapy, and motivations in physical exercise.",
