The University uses a wide range of methods to assess applications, these can include:\n\n•\tpersonal statement\n•\tpredicted grades\n•\tcontextual information\n•\treference\n•\texamples of your work\n•\tdigital auditions or interview\n\nIf you are successful in your application an offer will be made to you, if conditional we will ask for between 104 and 120 UCAS tariff points from any combination of A Levels/T Level/Extended Diploma/Foundation Diploma. The expected subjects will depend on the course you are applying for.\n\nAll applicants must have GCSE English Language or Literature at Grade 4/Grade C or above, or English Functional Skills Level 2 at Pass.\n\n-\n\nExamples of work\n\nOur BA (Hons) Acting for Screen course is about working with screens in all their forms so we are keen to see how you can perform in any of these settings. We would like you to record and upload a video to YouTube, Vimeo or Weibo. The video should be made up of one or more solo performances of up to three minutes in total. The performed pieces may range from scenes from existing TV or cinema in any dramatic form or may be self-written as drama or as influence pieces designed for social media. You will need to state or caption each performance piece so that we can identify your source.\n\n-\n\nEnglish\nYou’ll need to have passed GCSE English Language or English Literature at Grade 4/Grade C or above, or English Functional Skills Level 2 at Pass. For mature students, an Access to Higher Education qualification in art and design will also be acceptable to demonstrate English language ability.\n\nCurrently studying a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design?\nIf you are currently studying a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design, you will have already achieved level 3 qualifications which carry UCAS tariff points. When considering your application, we will, collate your achieved tariff points with those you are predicted. You will also need a GCSE grade 4/ Grade C or above in English Language or English Literature or equivalent, or Functional Skills level 2 at a pass.\n\nStudying for Access to Higher Education or any other qualifications?\nWe accept several other qualifications, please contact us to discuss before you apply.",
