Instead, you can take out a tuition fee loan which is paid straight to the University. This is available to most students, no matter what their household income. \n\nPlease note, for Home undergraduate students, 2026/27 fees have yet to be confirmed. Tuition fees are subject to increase each year, subject to the government’s regulated fee limits. For information, for UK students applying for 2025 entry the Tuition Fee was £9,535. \n\nYou will find full information about tuition fees in the “Fees and funding” section of all course pages on our website. Or see the “Paying for your studies” section of our website for more information.\n\nSome of our programmes charge less than the full £9,535 fee: \n\n• Psychology BSc (Hons) (2+2 programme with Foundation element), run in collaboration with Wirral Metropolitan College. \n• Programmes with a year in industry or a year abroad\n\nSome programmes which include compulsory fieldwork or additional elements such as the Pilots Licence in Aerospace Engineering may incur additional costs. Where this is the case, those costs will be outlined at on-campus events such as the University Open Days or Applicant Discovery Days.\n\nFor further information please see: https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/study/fees-and-funding/",

"summary": "Mathematics underpins much of the modern world and is fundamental to science, technology, business and finance. In the BSc Applied Mathematics programme you will study essential mathematical topics as well as a range of applications. The programme emphasises versatile mathematical modelling techniques and offers a wide selection of optional modules, allowing you to follow your individual interests and career plans.\n\nThrough studying mathematics, you will acquire highly flexible skills that will last a lifetime, including strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills and an appreciation of the importance of logical reasoning. You will also develop computational proficiency and learn how mathematical modelling can be used to analyse real-world problems. These skills are vital to many industries and are highly sought-after by employers.\n\nIn this three-year BSc you will gain a sound knowledge of the most important areas of applied mathematics, including calculus, linear algebra, differential equations and statistics and probability. The skills you will gain throughout the course are highly attractive to employers and our graduates are in high demand in many industries, including finance, technology, engineering, healthcare, data science, and more.\n\nDelivered by the Department of Mathematical Sciences, students are taught in a friendly, supportive environment by highly qualified staff, who have first-class reputations in teaching and research.\n\nThis programme is available with either a Year in China or a Year Abroad. The Year in China offers undergraduate students the opportunity to spend one year at our joint venture, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), following XJTLU's BA China Studies degree classes. XJTLU is a fully English-speaking university, located in Suzhou. The Year Abroad offers students the opportunity to spend a full academic year studying at one of our partner universities around the world, following a mixture of culture and/or discipline-related modules. If you wish to study this programme with a Year in China or a Year Abroad you will have the opportunity to apply after you arrive at Liverpool.",
