Our MSc in Automotive Engineering is designed to equip students with the latest industry-relevant skills, focusing on hands-on learning and real-world applications, while also fostering independent thinking and technical expertise. \n\nAs a natural development of the success of the Automotive Engineering undergraduate programmes offered by UWTSD, MSc Automotive Engineering aims to develop your understanding further, based upon the strong links between the University and the Industry.\n\nThroughout the course, you will study a diverse range of subjects essential to automotive engineering, such as aerodynamics and vehicle dynamics, learning how they impact performance and NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). You’ll examine alternative fuels, combustion modelling, and energy storage systems to understand modern propulsion technologies. Additionally, modules like materials and life cycle analysis, non-destructive testing, and structural component analysis will teach you about vehicle durability and sustainability.
