"summary": "This is a Level 4 stand alone qualification that covers the first year of our Degree Programme. The course can be studied on a full time basis over one academic year, or part time over two years and will enable those students who are unable to commit to studying for a full BA Honours degree to have an understanding of, and learn the basic skills required in Fashion: Design and Construction.\n\nThe programme aims to develop students’ abilities and confidence in designing and constructing garments through practice-led experience and processes that foster the development of individual design identity. At Carmarthen School of Art, class sizes are small and tutor contact is second to none.\n\nYou can expect a varied programme of assignments that highlight the importance of technical skills within the industry. The course is a member college of the prestigious British Fashion Council which gives colleges and students access to esteemed industry projects and internships.",
