You'll learn about film analysis and the key roles in film production and writing for screen. You'll also explore theoretical perspectives on narrative, and shoot and edit a short group fiction project. In Year 2 you'll explore narrative films based on real events and develop your understanding of the history of documentary film and contemporary moving image culture. You'll also consider personal filmmaking and alternative modes of production and exhibition, and learn to challenge the conventions of documentary film. In Year 3 you'll produce your graduation film and undertake a dissertation, as well as a self-directed individual project or portfolio. You'll also make preparations for employment in the moving image industries.",
