"summary": "**Investigate legal and financial systems with our hands-on Law and Business degree**\nThink critically, construct arguments, and make life-changing decisions with our Law and Business degree. You will build detailed and analytical knowledge of the law and its relationships with business, covering areas such as:\n\n\n- criminality\n\n\n- human rights\n\n\n- international trade\n\n\n- corporate finance\n\n\n- the healthcare sector.\n\n\nOur law programmes are Qualifying Law Degrees (QLD). After successfully completing this course, you can become a barrister through the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) or a solicitor through the Solicitor’s Qualification Exam route (SQE).\n\n**Hands-on experiences**\nWith our undergraduate law and business course, you will learn through diverse hands-on experiences, such as:\n\n\n- simulated negotiation exercises\n\n\n- moot court\n\n\n- pro bono initiatives.\n\n\n**Make London your classroom**\nSt Mary’s is based in Richmond-upon-thames, London – home to the city’s legal district and the financial capital of the world.
