"summary": "**Develop your knowledge across seven key areas of Law alongside your study of criminology**\n\nLaw exists to regulate pretty much everything we do, which is why it remains such a relevant and fascinating subject to study.\n\n**Study criminal law in each year**\nThis three-year course will develop your knowledge and understanding of legal frameworks to give you the opportunity to pursue a career as a barrister or solicitor.\n\nThe course provides debate, discussion and learning on the seven core areas of knowledge, as you develop your academic and practical skills to prepare for a career within the profession.\n\nWe also offer you the unique opportunity to study criminal law in each year of your degree.\n\n**Examine the psychology of criminals**\nIn addition, you will explore Criminology as a real-world application of the law.\n\nYou will examine the psychology of criminals and the investigative element of understanding crime.\n\n**Innovative assessments**\nWe use a variety of assessment methods beyond just traditional exams in order to fully prepare you for your professional career, including mock trials and client interviews.\n\n**Support for SQE 1**\nWe also offer specific support put in place to help prepare you for the first Solicitors’ Qualifying Examination.\n\n**Start your journey**\nAll of our Law courses are suitable for those who have previously studied the subject, but previous study is not required.",
