"summary": "Choosing Law with Criminology means you’ll study for a law degree while deepening your understanding of the connection between crime, criminal justice and the law. \n\nWhy do people commit crimes? How does society react to crime? And how is the law affected by it? \n\nCombining the expertise of our law school with our pioneering criminology department, you’ll put theory into practice with real-world experiences. Advising real clients in our Legal Advice and Mediation Centres. Developing your court skills through mock trials in our courtroom. And using one of the only replica crime scene training facilities in the UK to transfer your theoretical learning into on the ground knowledge. \n\nAs part of this course, you’ll spend your third year at one of our partner universities in Germany, France, Italy, Spain or the Netherlands.\n\n**Why study at Hull?** \n\n• **Unique facilities**: Our purpose-built replica crime scene and mock court rooms bring learning to life. \n• **Real-world experience**: Both our Legal Advice Centre and Mediation Centre will allow you to work with actual clients, guided by professionals, on real-life cases and issues.\n• **Industry connections**: With over 50 years as a leading criminology centre, we’ve got significant links to regional and national employers.
