"modules": "There are two semesters per academic year. Each semester is 15 weeks long; 12 weeks face-to-face tuition, one week consolidation/revision and two weeks to complete the assessments. Students study three modules per semester. All modules are worth 20 credits. "assessmentMethods": "A range of assessment methods will be used. Some will be by examination. Some will be by coursework (which may be essay, project report or portfolio) and some by way of oral presentation. This range of assessment methods reflects the practical nature of the programme and aligns the assessment with the learning outcomes of the programme. A mock assessment will be included. \n\nThe assessments for SQE1 and 2 are under the control of the SRA’s chosen assessment provider Kaplan. At present we have limited information about the length and structure of these assessments but our current understanding is as follows: \n\nSQE1 - The SQE1 assessments will consist of two papers covering FLK 1 and 2. Each paper will consist of 180 Single Best Answer style MCQs and last for 5 hours with a break in the middle. \n\nSQE2 – oral skills two half days, written skills three half days..\n\nSQE2 will be assessed by 16 uniform assessments in the six different legal skills set in one of the five practice areas studined in SQE1, with no selection of specialisms\nThe skills are:\n• client interviewing including a linked attendance note/legal analysis\n• advocacy\n• case and matter analysis - including negotiation planning\nlegal research \n• legal writing\n• legal drafting\n\nThe assessments are set in the practice areas of\n• criminal practice (including advising clients at the police station)\n• dispute resolution\n• property practice\n• wills and intestacy, probate administration and practice \n• business organisations, rules and procedures (including money laundering and financial services) \nEthics is assessed pervasively.\n\n In addition there will be University assessments for the Level 7 10 credit option modules which consist of coursework and a reflective statement.",

"assessmentMethods": "A range of assessment methods will be used. Some will be by examination. Some will be by coursework (which may be essay, project report or portfolio) and some by way of oral presentation. This range of assessment methods reflects the practical nature of the programme and aligns the assessment with the learning outcomes of the programme. A mock assessment will be included. \n\nThe assessments for SQE1 and 2 are under the control of the SRA’s chosen assessment provider Kaplan. At present we have limited information about the length and structure of these assessments but our current understanding is as follows: \n\nSQE1 - The SQE1 assessments will consist of two papers covering FLK 1 and 2. Each paper will consist of 180 Single Best Answer style MCQs and last for 5 hours with a break in the middle. \n\nSQE2 – oral skills two half days, written skills three half days..\n\nSQE2 will be assessed by 16 uniform assessments in the six different legal skills set in one of the five practice areas studined in SQE1, with no selection of specialisms\nThe skills are:\n• client interviewing including a linked attendance note/legal analysis\n• advocacy\n• case and matter analysis - including negotiation planning\nlegal research \n• legal writing\n• legal drafting\n\nThe assessments are set in the practice areas of\n• criminal practice (including advising clients at the police station)\n• dispute resolution\n• property practice\n• wills and intestacy, probate administration and practice \n• business organisations, rules and procedures (including money laundering and financial services) \nEthics is assessed pervasively.\n\n In addition there will be University assessments for the Level 7 10 credit option modules which consist of coursework and a reflective statement.",
