The University uses a wide range of methods to assess applications, these can include:\n\n•\tpersonal statement\n•\tpredicted grades\n•\tcontextual information\n•\treference\n•\texamples of your work\n•\tdigital auditions or interview\n\nIf you are successful in your application an offer will be made to you, if conditional we will ask for between 104 and 120 UCAS tariff points from any combination of A Levels/T Level/Extended Diploma/Foundation Diploma. The expected subjects will depend on the course you are applying for.\n\nAll applicants must have GCSE English Language or Literature at Grade 4/Grade C or above, or English Functional Skills Level 2 at Pass.\n\n-\n\nExamples of work\n\nAs part of the application process you are required to submit examples of work. The files should be no larger than 30MB in total. Guidance on what to include in your examples of work can be found on our website at www.leeds-art.ac.uk/ug-entry-requirements.\n\n-\n\nEnglish\nYou’ll need to have passed GCSE English Language or English Literature at Grade 4/Grade C or above, or English Functional Skills Level 2 at Pass. For mature students, an Access to Higher Education qualification in art and design will also be acceptable to demonstrate English language ability.\n\nCurrently studying a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design?\nIf you are currently studying a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design, you will have already achieved level 3 qualifications which carry UCAS tariff points. When considering your application, we will, collate your achieved tariff points with those you are predicted. Understanding your creative practice and where you fit in industry is essential to identify opportunities for success.\n\nPhotographers are increasingly employed across genres, from fine art and documentary to fashion and commercial work. This is an outward-looking course designed to maximise your employability or freelance success on graduation.\n\nYou will critically consider every aspect of this art form on the course, from composing images through to post-production and their target audiences. You will work in industry-standard facilities using sophisticated lighting and camera equipment.
