From the site of Britain's bloodiest battle to the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, our historic location enriches your learning. \n\nThroughout the course you will investigate the process of war, exploring how wars develop and how they are resolved. You will also discuss the wider social consequences of past conflict and consider their effect on the present day.\n\nThrough our History modules you can develop your specialism further, studying topics that focus on periods, themes or locations you are passionate about. Our academic staff are active researchers, with specialisms across British, European, Asian and American history, ranging from Ancient Rome and the Napoleonic Wars to the Cold War.
