From 2nd for student satisfaction in the Complete University Guide 2025, to 5th for teaching quality in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025, to 11th for graduate careers in the Guardian University Guide 2025.\n\nDesigned in collaboration with NHS clinical laboratories and accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS), the course will take you through a series of health laboratory challenges led by both academic and NHS staff, training you in the diagnosis, monitoring, treatment and prevention of disease. With a focus on practical exploration and assessment, these exercises will build your capability and confidence to undertake your own laboratory research.\n\nYou’ll also have the opportunity to develop your skills and employability through work-based modules, ranging from short internships to year-long placements.
