"modules": "Expressive Therapies and Alternative Counselling Platforms: \n\nThis module aims to examine and critically evaluate the use of expressive therapies. In addition to examining practical applications this module aims to look at their emergence through history, how they evolved from culture and rituals then merged into present theoretical based therapeutic approaches. It will raise awareness of anti-discriminatory attitudes of therapeutic practice and promote equal opportunity by looking into alternative platforms for therapy to be delivered. \n\n \n\nIssues in Professional Practice: \n\nThis module will give students an opportunity to network with their peers in an exploration of any issues they have faced within practicing so far as well as looking at the common issues that arise within professional practice. Be given the opportunity to reflect on how they practice as a counsellor and ethical implications of practicing including personal wellbeing. \n\n \n\nContemporary Mental Health Perspectives: \n\nThis module will allow students to expand their knowledge around Mental Health perspectives. Looking at policy, legislation and practice, students will gain understanding around cultural diversity allowing for exploration of alternative and challenging perspectives within mental health in relation to working with clients individually in a therapeutic setting. \n\n \n\nCognitive Behavioural Therapy in Practice: \n\nThis module will broaden students' knowledge of cognitive behavioural approaches, which can add more effectiveness to their current practice and increase employment opportunities. The focus of this module will develop skills when treating clients suffering with mental health difficulties particularly focussing on the theory of cognitive behavioural therapy. \n\n \n\nDissertation / Research Project: \n\nThis module aims to enhance student knowledge in preparation for writing the dissertation. They will have the opportunity to conduct experimental research to test appropriate hypotheses or a reflective question. Review relevant literature appropriate to the rationale of their study, explore different methods of research, gain the ability to interpret results related to existing theory with data analysis and discussion of findings",
