So, you not only get the knowledge you need to apply, or progress, but also the skills employers want in only 12 months.\n\nThe course aims to:\n\nGive you the practical, interpersonal and thinking skills that algin with the latest professional standards.\nOffer a range of learning opportunities such as group projects, supervised placements and the creation of a practice-basede development portfolio.\nProvide extensive work-based learning, allowing you to put your theoretical knowledge into working practice.\n\nThe Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) – Level 4 HNC in Healthcare Professions Support for England is equivalent to one year of a degree.\n\nThe total qualification time for the Pearson BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Healthcare Professions’ Support for England includes a minimum requirement of 225 hours’ work placement or experience in healthcare settings. The mandatory elements of work placement/experience are as follows: \n\nMinimum number of placements: 1\nMinimum number of hours in each placement: 75 (225 in total but a minimum of 75 in each placement)\nSettings: Any health or health-related social care setting providing direct healthcare to service users. ",
