For instance this course doesn’t cover the cost of any stationery, printing, books or re-assessments which you might need. \n\nUK tuition fees align with the applicable fee caps set by the UK government, and as such they are subject to changes made to the agreed cap in a specific year.\n\nAll costs for direct engagement in taught modules are included as part of the tuition fees – this includes materials used in the workshops and safety equipment. From time to time students will need to cover the costs of project work and the creation of design folios. This amount will depend on what materials, manufacturing techniques and other creative choices the student makes.\n\nThe final mark awarded for all assessed submissions bears no relation to the amount of money spent on the work. Students will not gain any marking advantage merely through the costly development of work.",

"summary": "Our Industrial Design BA (Hons) will equip you with the knowledge, understanding and skills to develop future facing products through embracing creative exploration and independent judgement.\n\nDesigned for students who are already confident in their career trajectory towards becoming an Industrial Designer, this is a great option for those who want to develop specialist skills and sensitivity in the creative form and aesthetics of contemporary and future manufactured products.\n\nThe course embraces creative exploration and the use of a wide range of skills and technologies within design practice. It covers creative ideation, form development and product styling, usability and interaction, ergonomics and human factors, and also the production and use of prototypes as a part of the design process.\n\nBA Industrial Design first year focuses on building core design skills and competencies in design research, ideation model making and CAD. The second year then focuses on preparing for placement and industry practice including modules in designing for manufacturing, prototyping, industrial design projects and generating a professional portfolio.",
