"summary": "**Our Media and Communications degree provides an academic, creative and critical understanding of the media for roles in a variety of creative industries and backgrounds.**\n\nStudents on the Media and Communications course learn how to produce creative content in a variety of media, enabling them to adapt communications for diverse audiences and preparing them for a wide range of professional roles. They explore digital content, moving image, art direction, copywriting, and a variety of other visual and written communications used in branding, journalism and activism. The degree has a strong employment focus, building up skills through practical modules, critical and research modules, and industry modules.\n\nStudents can choose between two pathways, specialising in years 2 and 3. The Digital Cultures pathway offers a diverse choice of industry-specific modules, inviting students to select options in audio-visual practice, social media curation, journalism and branding.
