Do you want to make the world a better place?\n\nOur new BSc (Hons) Sustainable Societies and Global Sociology is an innovative, interdisciplinary degree that equips you with the ability to critically engage with some of the most urgent challenges of the 21st century. Drawing together perspectives from sociology, politics, business, and ecology, the course examines how societies across the globe are responding to issues of development, sustainability, inequality and social justice.\n\nYou’ll explore questions such as: How can societies pursue economic growth without deepening global inequalities? What are the social implications of different models of development? How do businesses, governments, and communities shape - and contest - sustainable futures?
