Instead, you can take out a tuition fee loan which is paid straight to the University. This is available to most students, no matter what their household income. \n\nPlease note, for Home undergraduate students, 2026/27 fees have yet to be confirmed. Tuition fees are subject to increase each year, subject to the government’s regulated fee limits. For information, for UK students applying for 2025 entry the Tuition Fee was £9,535. \n\nYou will find full information about tuition fees in the “Fees and funding” section of all course pages on our website. Or see the “Paying for your studies” section of our website for more information.\n\nSome of our programmes charge less than the full £9,535 fee: \n\n• Psychology BSc (Hons) (2+2 programme with Foundation element), run in collaboration with Wirral Metropolitan College. \n• Programmes with a year in industry or a year abroad\n\nSome programmes which include compulsory fieldwork or additional elements such as the Pilots Licence in Aerospace Engineering may incur additional costs. Where this is the case, those costs will be outlined at on-campus events such as the University Open Days or Applicant Discovery Days.\n\nFor further information please see: https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/study/fees-and-funding/",

"summary": "Films have been vital cultural out puts for over one hundred years. The context in which they are produced and distributed is constantly changing but their importance as documents of our times remains, as does the pleasure they give to audiences across the world and their potential influence on the way those audiences may see the world. Film Studies at Liverpool offers you the chance to study with recognised scholars of film cultures and industries around the world, offering a wide-ranging and sophisticated academic programme in this critical field. Our students have an interest in world cultures and a desire to fully appreciate the ways in which these cultures have expressed themselves through film. We encourage you to become an independent learner, and support them through our dedicated library resources, including a wide variety of films from all periods and sources available for private study, e-learning initiatives and structured tasks outside the classroom.\n\nThis programme is available with either a Year in China or a Year Abroad. The Year in China offers undergraduate students the opportunity to spend one year at our joint venture, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), following XJTLU's BA China Studies degree classes. XJTLU is a fully English-speaking university, located in Suzhou. The Year Abroad offers students the opportunity to spend a full academic year studying at one of our partner universities around the world, following a mixture of culture and/or discipline-related modules. If you wish to study this programme with a Year in China or a Year Abroad you will have the opportunity to apply after you arrive at Liverpool.",
