The sector is huge, meaning you can choose from a large variety of specialisms, in hospital, GP practices or in the community. You’ll develop the confidence, skills and experience you’ll need to care for a wide range of health needs as a qualified registered nurse. \nAnd you’ll benefit from our hands-on approach to learning, spending half your time on our award-winning campus and the other half in placement, working with real patients, supported by experienced healthcare professionals. \n\n**Why study at Hull?** \n\n• **Cutting-edge facilities**: We’ve invested £28 million to create state-of-the-art facilities on our health campus. The Allam Medical Building gives you the chance to get practical experience in our purpose-built modern simulation hospital ward, operating theatre and critical care room. \n• **Extra funding**: Students studying this course will receive a payment of at least £5,000 a year. This doesn't need to be paid back and is in addition to any financial support received through your student loan.\n• **Get fully qualified**: The Adult Nursing degree is a fully approved nursing qualification, recognised by the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council).
