"summary": "**A Brighton Podiatry degree will prepare you for a rewarding career where you’ll have a positive impact on health and wellbeing as you assess, diagnose and treat conditions related to the feet, ankles and lower limbs.** \n\nThis course is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Royal College of Podiatry, ensuring you’ll gain all the knowledge and skills needed for professional practice. Successful completion of the degree means you will be eligible to apply for HCPC registration and practice as a podiatrist. \n\nAt Brighton, you’ll be part of a community that helps you grow, no matter what your background. Clinical placements in each year of the degree will give you essential experience of working in the NHS and other settings such as private practices, podiatry specialisms, research, education and leadership. You’ll also gain plenty of hands-on experience at university using our specialist facilities which include orthotics manufacturing and a podiatry simulation suite so you can learn and practise practical skills before you work with real patients and clients. \n\nOur inclusive approach to learning will help you go further; we’ll make sure you play to your strengths and learn in ways that suit you best. \n\nBrighton’s podiatry graduates have successful careers working in the NHS and the private sector with many setting up their own practice. Access to HE Diploma Pass with 60 credits overall. Science or health studies. Must include level 3 units in biology. At least 45 credits at level 3, with 18 credits at distinction and 27 credits at merit or above. T-level Merit in any T-level.
