From combating climate change and creating energy storage devices, to developing new pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.\n\nOur distinctive course includes a set of 'chemistry in context' modules where you can apply your knowledge to specific case studies. You'll also gain skills and knowledge that you can apply to solve real-world problems in areas such as chemistry and the environment.\n\nYou may want to consider studying abroad for a year as part of your course or spending a year on professional placement. We also offer the option of a four-year Integrated Master's course (MChem). If you don't have a science background or don't meet our entry requirements, you can take our foundation year.\n\nYou have the option to take the new Chemistry (Forensic Science) pathway from stage 2, where you'll learn practical skills needed to tackle the challenges of the 21st century - from drug design and analysis to understanding the science that underpins and supports crime scene investigation. To study Chemistry (Forensic Science) BSc you first apply to this Chemistry BSc.
