Additionally, key BASES-endorsed modules (Pending endorsement by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Science), such as Applied Physiology in Sport, ensure students receive industry-recognized education, preparing them for a variety of professional roles in sports science and health. This program is ideal for those seeking a tailored educational experience with an emphasis on career readiness and specialization. The Work Ready Guarantee in this top-up program includes opportunities to develop specific, in-demand skills through professional short courses, which complement the core curriculum and bolster employability. These optional courses may include: ISAK course - body composition assessment courses offered by the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK); Equipment – You will be able to use industry ready equipment for you Research project; Advanced First Aid: Developing critical first aid skills for sports contexts (Please note that these courses may vary year to year and are subject to availability and demand).
