"summary": "This is a university level course (higher education). The course duration is 2 years. In the first year you will complete your HNC and in your second year you will complete your HND.\n\nThe course is 2 days per week at college and 1 day or half a day on placement.\n\nYou will be able to top this course up at university or with us to achieve a full honours degree.\n\nThe purpose of this course is to develop students as professional, self-reflecting individuals, able to meet the demands of employers in the sport sector and adapt to a constantly changing world.\n\nThe course is designed to reflect this increasing need for high-quality professional and technical education pathways at Level 4 and 5, thereby providing students with a clear line of sight to employment and to progression to a degree at level 6.\n\n**Course Content**\nMixture of practical and theory based lessons.\n\nAll students will have an opportunity to complete work placement for 3 hours per week.\n\n\n- Taking part in competitive sport\n\n\n- Coaching roles within community and elite clubs\n\n\n- Marketing roles within organisations\n\n\n- Scouting placements looking at recruitment/talent development\n\n\n- Fitness instructors within local gyms\n\n\n- Operation management roles within sports organisations\n",
