"assessmentMethods": "A range of assessment methods are used in the assessment of modules so that students are provided with a range of opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge and skills.\n\nSpecific types of assessment include:\n\nPractical tasks\nEssays\nVideos\nReflective Blogs\nLaboratory reports\nExaminations (seen and unseen papers)\nPresentations\n\n\nWhile a good quality of personal performance is encouraged, it is not a focus of assessment in the practically based modules. Rather, issues of inclusion, entitlement and differentiation are embedded in many of the assessments, and students are required to plan and evaluate their own and other students’ teaching.\n\nStudents learn how to present a balanced, evidenced argument through their formal written work, as well as via individual and group presentations.\n\nWithin the final year, students will design and conduct their own independent project in a specialist area of their choice.",
