"summary": "Gain a strong understanding of current and in-development immunotherapies for treating cancer and tumour immunology on our unique Cancer Immunology and Biotechnology MSc. \n\nThe courses covers immunology and molecular biology of cancer before focusing on how to develop therapies like vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, CAR T cells and more. You'll also develop an understanding of the impact tumours have on the immune system and how the immune system responds to tumour.\n\nWorking with active cancer researchers and experts, you'll join the Centre for Cancer Sciences and conduct an in-depth six-month independent research project in the area of cancer immunology that interests you. The course will also see you make use of some of the latest technology in oncology and strengthen your ability to successfully evaluate and interpret cancer research data.\n\nStudents will also learn how to commercialise research. They will form virtual companies and come up with a scientific research topic which they will write a business plan and present to the “dragons den” (lecturers and fellow students)\n\nAt Nottingham, you'll receive a thorough grounding in tumour immunology and the different immunotherapies that will help you succeed in your career tackling one of the world's biggest killers.",
