"summary": "**Why Dance?**\nOur Dance degree offers specialist vocational and academic training across a variety of dance genres. Our modules are designed to develop your technical, performance, choreographic and teaching skills, whilst encouraging you to gain a strong sense of who you are as a professional artist. Alongside your modules you will receive regular technique classes that include contemporary, jazz, ballet and commercial styles, as well as additional strength and conditioning training to support your development as a practitioner. The variety in our course allows you to tailor your study to suit your own interests and career ambitions, whether these lie in performing, teaching, choreographing, or a combination of these. \n\nWith the chance to gain experience working in a range of settings and participate in workshops with professionals and organisations such as Motionhouse, Shobana Jeyasingh, 2Faced Dance, Gary Clarke, Layton Williams, The Roses and The Everyman Theatre, our graduates stand out from the competition.
