"summary": "This three year programme is designed to provide you with a firm grounding in the science, technology and business applicable to a marine sports career.\nThis programme can also be studied as a one year top-up where you will complete Year 3 only. Based at our main Cornwall College Newquay campus, and at our premises on Tolcarne Beach in Newquay, you will have the opportunity to study a number of different modules relating to the ocean environment in which you practice your sport.\nThere are also modules that will allow you the opportunity to gain key qualifications in your particular area of expertise; enhancing your employability in what is a competitive industry. Alongside this the essential business, management, transferable and soft skills, which are key to graduate level employment, will be embedded in a number of modules. These include event and expedition management and business and enterprise.\n\nSustainability of marine sector sporting activities and environmental awareness will be considered alongside new and developing technology in the industry.\nThis programme will be taught in a variety of modes including lectures, practicals, workshops and block delivery both in and by industry.
